CALL FOR SOLIDARITY WITH MIGRANTS IN POLISH-BELARUSIAN BORDERS
SMARTPHONES || CHARGING CABLES || POWERBANKS

We collect only on Wednesday 17/5 [18:00-23:00] at the social space Scholeio (Vasileos Georgiou 27) and on Thursday 18/5 [20:00-23:00], at Infolibre (Filippou Dragoumi 4) . Α comrade will transfer to Warsaw on Friday. If you cannot reach us these days, contact us with a message.

No Borders Team and solidarians are supporting people on the move with basic supplies like hot tea and hot meals, dry clothes, jackets and shoes, phones and powerbanks. They also struggle in a political level, organizing demonstrations at detention centers and trying to raise awareness to the Polish media. Most recent protests happened this year, in front of SOC in Przemyśl and in front of the closed center in Lesznowola, in solidarity with the strikers.
People in the forests are soaked, freezing and hungry, trying to cross the borders for months, they are beaten and robbed, subjected to pushbacks several times. Sometimes without connection with the world, due to the Polish border guards damaging their phones or destroying the charging ports.

We are no strangers to the inhuman tactics and policies that are being exhibited in Poland.
Migrants and refugees trying to reach Europe are taking enormous risks, including abuse at the hands of the smugglers, freezing temperatures in the winter and navigating unknown and dangerous terrain such as forest, fast-flowing rivers, the Mediterranean or the Aegean Sea.
According to the Greek government statements from January until December of 2022, 150.000 migrants have been blocked from land and maritime borders, 25.000 of them in the month of August. While the Aegean Boat Report for the month of August, states an average of 100 people every day fighting for their lives in the middle of the sea in wrecked boats after being violently pushed-back from the greek coast guards. Migrants face psychological and physical assaults, their belongings are forcefully taken without any consideration for human dignity. There is numerous evidence of the illegal procedures and the underrepresented numbers in the reports, we may never know the actual number of the pushbacks.

From Turkey to Greece and from Belarus to Poland fight against the borders!
Solidarity is our weapon!
Stop pushbacks!
Stop detention! Free movement for all!
